Postponed is not the same as canceled. And isn't delay that due also to a uncertainty of the phoney reasons she out a moratorium Smith placed on any solar projects? How big is the investment in the proposed postponed projects?
An oil and gas company I consulted for that’s committed to pursuing energy transition opportunities just postponed a final investment decision (FID) on its first two projects - a solar power and a gas fired power “peaker” plant using CCS to be net zero carbon. Undoubtedly in part due to Alberta and federal government wrangling over clean energy policy and regulation. Leaving me with one less customer for my CCS consulting services, and Alberta one less power project to compete against the generation incumbents who are distorting the power market and costing consumers $$$’s!

I wonder how voters in Alberta feel about that?
