Why Poilievre Refuses a Security Clearance

Is it because he can't qualify for it?

The fabrications against Carney personal assets disclosure are not sticking. That’s because they lack sustance to diminish any support for his ability to negotiate tariffs with Trump.

If Carney wins the leadership then he must, and I expect he will, volunteer to make the filing as if he were an MP.

There are real concerns and a consensus that Poilievre is not the preferred choice, compared to Carney or Freeland, to take on Trump and not be taken in by Trump. WHY?

Because he's been endorsed by Trump and Musk. Way to cozy to be trusted.

He aligns with Trumpism in policy and programs even in messaging. Canada First is his version of Trump’s America First, for instance. Too easy to sell us out .

He doesn't have security clearance, so can he be easily extorted by Trump or others? Is that a risk we want to take?

We don't know why Pierre hasn't applied for security clearance after so long as Leader of the Opposition. Should we suspect he couldn't get a clearance?

Pierre must get a security clearance before the election is called. We need to know what kind of character we are really being asked to vote for.
