I recently renewed my membership in the Alberta Party. This is an excerpt of what they send me as a result.
Hi Ken,
Thank you for reaching out to the party to learn more about us. The Alberta Party is built by people like you who believe in creating a better option for Alberta. By working together on solutions for our province instead of focusing on an ideology of left or right we can make Alberta a better place to live, work and play.
Currently, the party is in the process of ramping up for the next election expected fall of 2027. This means we are working to gather volunteers to support strong Constituency Associations in the 87 ridings across Alberta as well as build a strong provincial organization.
In addition, we are refining our policy approaches to important issues like healthcare, education and economic diversification through online consultations and policy workshops.
You can find our current policies here and we expect to be releasing an updated policy book by December of this year at the latest.
If you would like to connect with someone to speak in detail about the party,we would love to hear from you.
Or reach out to volunteer@albertaparty.ca for both general information and information on volunteer opportunities.
Thank you again for your interest in the party and we look forward to connecting with you again soon.
Sincerely,
Lindsay Amantea
Interim Leader

I THINK WE NEED A VIABLE THIRD-PARTY POLITICAL OPTION IN ALBERTA TO AVOID DESCENDING INTO THE DISASTEROUS TWO-PARTY AMERICAN MODEL
Do you want to take votes from the UCP or the NDP?
With our First Past The Post system, which was designed for a two party election, that is all the Alberta Party can hope to accomplish...
I thought they were joining with Peter Guthrie’s PC party coming back and a change of name? All I know is we need Danielle’s UCP out.
