Ken I would love to connect sometime on the current state of this party and what you see as realistic. I had some involvement there a decade or so ago but the whole movement seems to have fizzled

I don’t get it Ken. Why not build up an existing party, like the Green Party? It has a broad, progressive platform, and ties to other parties across the country and the world.

Many efforts have been made towards merger and synergy but to no avail. Political parties are private clubs, tightly controlled by leaders and a few anointed insiders who are usually tribal and power hungry. We need a viable third alternative to stop a pendulum swing between left and right majorities how get unfettered power one in office.

Do you want to take votes from the UCP or the NDP?

With our First Past The Post system, which was designed for a two party election, that is all the Alberta Party can hope to accomplish...

The largest “party”in most elections is usually the “Apathy Indifferent Party of Non-Voters.”

It’s only toxic to Conservatives. The NDP in Alberta are defacto the ‘liberals’ as real socialist policies of the real left would go absolutely no where here. Too many generations of americanization.
